Creditcards for People with Bad and Poor Credit
What are My Options
Whenever you apply for any financial product you will always
be credit
scored by a credit reference agency.
A bad credit record (called an "adverse credit rating"
in the business) will be picked up immediately, and,
by their very nature, you'll have a problem getting a credit
card.
However, all is not lost.
Certain card issuers have turned your problem into a niche
market. This gives you more options.
The creditcards you may be able to get will probably be
more expensive than the regularly
advertised ones. However if you behave yourself for a while
with your new credit card, your credit rating will improve
in time and you'll be able to climb back up the credit ladder.
Checkout the best buy tables and see if any of the card providers listed are making a point of inviting people with bad credit to apply.
